Oh, Sweet Soul of Mine

Oh, sweet soul of mine
Have you found the time
To search what's inside
How you really feel
Oh, sweet soul of mine
We have both heard the chimes
At midnight we find
How we really feel
It's perfect
Worthless
One of a kind
It's fool proof
Footloose
Simply divine
Oh it's Sublime Design, your Sweet Soul and Mine
It's a Sublime Design, your Sweet Soul and Mine
Baaahh De Do da Dya
haeee he do da dya
Haaa Duh duh du duh da
Haaa Deh Do Du Deh da
Heweh Da, Hoyh Da De Da Da Baaa
It's a Sublime Design, your Sweet Soul and Mine
It's a Sublime Design, your Sweet Soul and Mine
Oh, sweet soul of mine
Have you heard the chimes?
At midnight we find
How we really feel

Too Short A Date
02:09
|
|||
Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature's changing course, untrimmed;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade,
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow'st,
Nor shall death brag thou wand'rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to Time thou grow'st.
So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee. -

Welcome to Onario Springs
Population 4000, but not counting those in the graveyard you get closer to 800
We've had the privilege of being raped and pillaged by every major invasion over the past two millennia.
Vikings, Romans, Normans. You name it, it's bastard DNA is floating around
There's a high school. Despite its location on the coast of England.
Every student is issued with an earring, a midrif, or a crappy indie band.
Two students stand out, between the midrif bearers, earring wearers and sonic abusers. They're chalk and cheese. You and me.
Down at the rabbit warren, that's where they play their music. Merging, converging, conversing. Getting into all sorts of trouble, and kind of doing what's expected of rabbits in a rabbit's warren.
LET'S HAVE A TRIANGLE SOLO
(woo triangle)
I regret asking for that now
It's Ornario springs
It's grit in chips land, it's a promenade of arcades. It's full of old people.
And It sucks
But it's mine,
and it's yours.
And tonight:
It's ours.

You know there was a time
When I thought your feet didn't touch the ground
And I think we've found the line
Where you start blending into the crowd
Cause I imagined you as something you weren't
And Baby, that's why it hurts
Cause I imagined you as something you weren't
And Baby, that's why it hurt
Well, I imagined you as something you weren't
And baby, I think that's why it hurts
Cause I imagined you as something you weren't
and Baby, that's why it hurts
Ba, Ba Da, Da Da, Da da Da Da Da
Da, Ba Da, Da Da, Ba Da Da Da Da
Bah, Da Da, da Da, Bah Dah Da Da Da
Bah, Da Da, Da Da, Bah Da Da Da Da
I imagined you as something you weren't
and baby (baby) that's why It hurts
Cause I Imagined you as something you weren't
and baby, that's why it hurts
THAT'S WHY IT HURTS
BA! DA! DA DA DA DA DA!
BA! DA! DA DA DA DA DA!
BA! DA! DA DA DA I
IMAGINED YOU AS SOMETHING YOU WEREN'T
AND BABY, THAT'S WHY IT HURTS
CAUSE I IMAGINED YOU AS SOMETHING YOU WEREN'T
Oh AND BABY, THAT'S WHY IT HURTS
that's why it hurts
that's why it hurts
that's why it hurts

These are a few of my favourite things
Broken people, with brilliant dreams
They get high, and touch the sun
and when they fall, they'll say they've won.
Oh Love, I'll be there soon
Just once I've conquered you
On a rainy afternoon
On a rainy afternoon
Bring me hope, and bring me joy
Bring me things, that I'd avoid... like
broken people, with brilliant dreams
they'll stay here, and we'll all sing
Oh Love, I'll be there soon
Just once I've conquered you
On a Rainy afternoon
On a rainy afternooon
We come up with "Roxanne", we look at a spliff, alight, being dangled idly over a ashtray. We see shots of the apartment, it's a mess. Dishes piled high, clothes everywhere. Paint. messiness. Projects started and abandoned. We see our hero, looking blissed, with headphones ons. There is a very slight buzzing in the background. Our hero opens his eyes, staring straight into the camera, takes off one headphone and listens. Sure enough, the buzzing continues and he gets up to answer the door.
cut to exterior. the front door. We can faintly hear Roxanne as our hero opens the door. A woman is standing there. Our hero wordlessly stares at her, and takes a big drag on the spliff and offers the woman entry. The woma n squeezes past him and enters the flat.
They come into the front room, strewn with crap, Our hero gestures at a corner of the room. the woman walks over, and dislodges a canvas with a half finished painting on it, grabbing a box of clothes, toiletries and other assorted breakup debris. Our hero lurks in the corner. She walks to the middle of the room and looks through the box. She turns to our hero.
Woman:
The man says nothing.
The woman repeats her question:
Woman: [Louder] Where's my book?
Hero: (removes earphones) Hm?
woman: My book, where is it.
Hero: It's all there, the Eliot, the. Hardy's. it's all there,
Woman: I mean my notebook. Where is it?
The hero reaches for his back pocket and pulls out an old battered moleskin and chucks it into the box. The woman looks at him for explanation.
Man: I .... Like your poems.
The woman grabs the box and walks back to the front door. She exists without looking at him. When she gets outside she turns to say something. SHe thinks better of it and leaves without a word. The hero watches her go, and pulls out his MP3 Player. He scrolls down to Robbie Williams. We cut to his face and hear the Police be cut off by the sound of 'Angels'. The hero returns to his seat. Puffs on his joint, and begins to cry
